I am looking for a new rifle, and am looking at the Franchi Momentum Elite, was looking for any input by those of you that have one. Its the classic , its The One , its stood the test of time , its been around longer than the rest and will still be here long after these other rifles have fallen out of fashion. Id probably go with the Bergara Wilderness Ridge. Chambered in .308 Winchester, the author's Franchi Momentum has a 22-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and a black synthetic stock with a recoil pad and integral sling-swivel studs. Im really interested in them but can hardly find a proper review of them. Also would be cool to see you do a semi-custom rifle (Bighorn action, prefit barrel, Ag composites stock, trigger tech, etc.) Thanks for such a speedy response. Im leaning on leaving my 300 Weatherby for a 300 win mag, and very interested in Seekins. I really wanted a 6.5 PRC for my first hunting rifle but with the ammo limitations Im probably going to get a 6.5 Creedmore instead. Jim great reviews. The pistol grip is thicker than on many similar stocks, which I appreciate a lot, but at the same time a little more palm swell wouldnt hurt. While I believe theyve succeeded in creating a stock that accommodates many different shooting positions and feels above average in all, it doesnt necessary excel in any of them.
